Few-Shot Examples

When the transformation is subtle, examples are clearer than a long explanation. Two or three examples lock in the format.

Rough prompt

Rewrite my emails to be more friendly.

Strong prompt

Rewrite my emails to be friendlier — same length, same facts. Examples:
Before: 'Send the file by EOD.' After: 'Could you send the file before end of day? Thank you!'
Before: 'Reschedule to 3pm.' After: 'Would 3pm work instead? Happy to move it again if not.'
Now rewrite: 'Confirm the meeting.'

Coach note

Two or three examples can prevent a whole class of wrong answers.
